SCAT考试，全称SchoolandCollegeAbilityTest,是针对2至8年级学生的一个学术测试，考查学生语言能力和数学推理能力。它是约翰霍普金斯大学CTY天才夏令营选拔考试之一。比起ACT和SAT来说，考生不用出大陆非常方便，而且考试时间短(1小时之内可以完成)，准备起来负担更小。

??另外，SCAT不仅可以申请CTY天才营，同时可作为标化成绩申请西北大学CTD、杜克大学TIP天才营和SIG天才营项目。

??考试内容：

??SCAT考试分为三个年龄组，分别是2-3年级、4-5年级，6-8年级，每个年级有不同的录取分数线，在线课程录取分数线比去美国参加夏校要稍低一些。

??SCAT考试内容包含两个部分：数学和词汇，均为选择题;每科55道题，其中有50道计分题和5道不计分的测试题，每科限时22分钟内完成。通过语言部分考试的可以参加英语和人文学科的课程，通过数学部分考试的可以参加数学和科学学科的课程。
